Golden Seeds Early Learning, Campsie is located in the heart of Campsie City in the Inner Western Suburbs. Our 91-place centre prides itself on being an extension of your family, fostering amazing partnerships and relationships with our families and children. We are fortunate to have dedicated educators who are passionate about our community and have worked alongside us for many years.
Since opening in March 2021, Golden Seeds Campsie has established itself as a well-respected service, earning a quality rating of MEETING in all 7 Quality Areas through our Assessment and Rating process.
Goal Setting
Our goal at Golden Seeds is to enrich children’s learning with meaningful interest-based experiences and inviting opportunities that will create curiosity. This includes emotional goals such as adjusting to an early childhood setting and establishing the fundamentals for success in play-based learning.
We recognise that the early years of a child are a crucial period in their learning and development. That’s why we base our goals on the principles set forth by the Early Years Learning Board (EYLF) Framework, striving to ensure every child:
- Develops a strong sense of identity
- Feels connected to and contributes to their world
- Enjoys a robust sense of well-being
- Becomes a confident and engaged learner
- Grows as an effective communicator
At our Campsie daycare and early learning centre, we value the collaborative partnerships we have with families, establishing goals and reviewing them twice a year in partnership with our parents and caregivers. We believe that creating these goals together sets the foundation for a sound and meaningful learning journey, helping children reach their fullest potential.

At Golden Seeds, we believe in the importance of providing nutritious meals that support the health and well-being of growing children. Our dedicated chefs carefully plan and prepare meals that are not only delicious but also balanced and nourishing.
We understand that each child is unique, with their own dietary needs and preferences. That’s why we offer a variety of wholesome foods and accommodate special dietary requirements, including allergies and cultural considerations. Our menus are thoughtfully crafted to include a diverse selection of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and dairy products, ensuring that children receive the essential nutrients they need to thrive.
In addition to serving nutritious meals, we prioritise teaching children about the importance of healthy eating habits. Through engaging activities and discussions, we encourage children to explore new foods, make mindful choices, and develop a positive relationship with food.

My name is Cathleen Ren, and currently, I’m working as the Centre Director of Golden Seeds Campsie. Since joining the Campsie Centre in 2018, I have prioritised the growth of positive relationships among all stakeholders, including children, families, and educators. We had an amazing time on our recent toddler excursion to the local park! The children loved exploring the slides, swings, and climbing frames, building their confidence and gross motor skills along the way. After all the fun, we enjoyed a cozy picnic under the shade with crackers and yoghurt pouches, sharing laughs and creating special memories.
